Colonial Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 medium-size sweet potatoes
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/4 c. rum

Preparation

Cook sweet potatoes with their jackets in very little water, covered, for 15 minutes or until tender.
Remove, cool and set aside until ready to use.
