Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

1 baked 9-inch pie shell
2/3 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 recipe meringue
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt.
Add milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Cook 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat and stir a small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks; return to hot mixture in saucepan.
Cook 1 minute more, stirring constantly. Add peanut butter and margarine; stir until blended.
Pour into cooled pastry shell.
Top with meringue and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
