English Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. water
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
5 large apples - cored and sliced
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Beat butter and brown sugar until pale and fluffy.
Stir in flour and 1 tsp of cinnamon and water until smooth and thick.
Add nuts.
Mound apples in a 9 inch pie plate.
Mix granulated sugar with remaining cinnamon and sprinkle over apples.
Spoon flour mixture in dollops over apples evenly.
