Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless pork, cut in 1-inch cubes
    2 cans pineapple chunks and juice
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    1 c. sweet mixed pickles and juice
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 clove garlic, minced, or 1 tsp. garlic salt
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. green pepper pieces
    1/2 c. catsup
Preparation
    Deep fry pork cubes until brown; remove from oil.
    Mix all ingredients, except cornstarch and green pepper.
    Bring to a boil; simmer for 30 minutes, or until meat is tender.
    Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water; add to pork mixture with green pepper. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Serve over rice or alone.
    Serves 8.
