Harvest Loaf Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. chocolate bits
3/4 c. walnuts
Preparation

Combine flour, soda, salt and spices.
Cream the shortening in a large bowl; add sugar.
Cream at high speed until light and fluffy.
Blend in eggs; beat well.
Add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin; begin and end with dry ingredients. Blend well after each addition.
Stir in chocolate bits and nuts. Pour in greased loaf pan.
Bake 65 to 75 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool. Drizzle with glaze.
Let stand 6 hours.
