Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Place sugar, water and Karo in pan and cook until it forms a soft ball in water.
    Pour over beaten egg whites and beat until mixture begins to thicken. Add nuts and continue beating until mixture is stiff. Drop small amounts on wax paper and top with a pecan half or candied fruit.
