7-Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    4 to 6 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Combine ingredients in double boiler (beat at high speed) over boiling water for about 7 minutes.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Spread on the cake.
