Mary'S Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pkg. noodles
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. butter
    16 oz. tomato sauce
    1 c. cottage cheese
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper (optional)
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook noodles; drain and coat noodles with butter.
    Brown meat, onion and green pepper in butter; stir in tomato sauce.
    Mix cheeses and sour cream.
    In greased casserole, place a layer of noodles, then a layer of meat mixture and a layer of cheese mixture.
    Continue layering until used, ending with a layer of cheese mixture.
    Bake in uncovered casserole at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    This casserole can be assembled a day ahead, refrigerated and baked just before serving.
