Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. bark cinnamon (tied in cloth)
    12 whole cloves
    beets, boiled
    2 c. water (that beets were boiled in)
Preparation
    Boil beets.
    Mix vinegar, sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves and 2 cups of water beets were boiled in.
    Boil for 2 minutes.
    Rinse beets.
    Take off skins and cut to desired size.
    Pack into quart jars and pour liquid over.
    Seal.
    Makes 4 quarts.
