Vegetarian Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. onions, finely chopped
    1/2 Tbsp. fresh garlic, minced
    1 (4 oz.) can green chiles, chopped and undrained
    1 c. tomatoes, diced
    1/2 tsp. Mrs. Dash nonsalt seasoning
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 1/4 tsp. chili powder
    2 (13 1/2 oz.) cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    5 c. low sodium V-8 juice
Preparation
    Combine the onions and garlic in a large saucepan and cook, covered, over low heat until soft, stirring frequently and adding a little water if necessary to prevent scorching.
    Add all other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Cook over medium heat until bubbling hot.
    Serve in bowls.
