Ingredients

1 c. dates, cut in pieces
1/2 c. margarine
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. fine chopped nuts
2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Mix together dates, margarine, egg and sugar and cook in a pan until thick, then let cool.
Add vanilla, nuts and Rice Krispies. Take a teaspoonful and roll in coconut.
Lay on wax paper to dry.
