Yeast Dough - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sweet milk, scalded and cooled
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. lard
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. water
flour
Preparation

Blend together milk, sugar, lard, salt and egg. In 1/4 cup warm water, dissolve yeast, then add to milk mixture. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Let rise until double in bulk, then make into rolls, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, whatever you desire.
