Liver And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. livers, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom (stems and pieces)
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. coriander
    1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper; dredge liver and brown in shortening.
    Pour off drippings; add mushrooms (including liquid), soy sauce, parsley flakes, coriander and water.
    Cover tightly and cook slowly for 20 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
