Cranberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    juice and rind of 1 orange, grated
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. fresh cranberries, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped up sugared cherries
Preparation
    Bake in a greased tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar or frost.
