Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. melted shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can cream-style corn
Preparation
    Fryer setting: 375\u00b0.
    Beat eggs 1 minute; add milk.
    Add flour and baking powder, then add shortening.
    Beat until blended, then add cream-style corn and vanilla.
    (If needed, add more flour so that you can drop by large tablespoonfuls into hot oil.)
    Fry 2 to 4 minutes, until light brown.
    Serve with warm syrup.
    May also use fruit for Fruit Fritters.
