Oatmeal Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. quick oats
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 stick margarine
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Set oats aside in a large bowl.
Place peanut butter in bowl with oats.
Lightly grease wax paper with margarine.
The piece should be approximately 15-inches long.
Cook sugar, margarine, evaporated milk and vanilla in large skillet.
Bring to a boil. Lower heat and let boil until mixture reaches soft ball stage, 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add peanut butter.
Spoon onto greased wax paper.
Let cool for about 10 minutes.
