Easy Pasta Fagioli - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon, chopped
2 Tbsp. oil
1 large onion
1 c. celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano leaves
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. spaghetti sauce
1 qt. warm water
1 1/2 c. ronzini bows or ditalini
1 (20 oz.) can white kidney beans
2 tsp. parsley
Preparation

Brown bacon in 2 tablespoons oil slow in large pot, then add onion, celery and garlic.
Cook until tender on medium heat (not brown), then add salt, oregano, pepper and spaghetti sauce.
Stir and cook 10 minutes.
Add water (1 quart); bring to a boil.
Stir in noodles and boil 15 minutes or until tender, then add beans and parsley.
Heat through.
Serve with Parmesan cheese.
