Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo syrup (white)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil water; add sugar and Karo.
    Stir until dissolved and spins a thread.
    Add peanuts; cook slowly over low heat until it turns golden brown.
    Remove from heat; add butter, vanilla and soda.
    Stir quickly; pour onto greased cookie sheet.
