1-2-3-4 Cake Layers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add 1 egg at a time.
    Alternate with milk and flour, then add vanilla.
    Pour into 3 cake pans (9-inch), greased.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
