Angel Crisp Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream
    together:
    sugar, margarine and shortening.
    Add 1 egg. Stir
    in flour, salt, soda, cream of tartar and vanilla.
    Pinch off pieces about the size of a pecan.
    Roll lightly in palm
    of hands.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Dip fork in water and mash
    little ball out as flat as you like.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for
    10 minutes
    or
    until
    lightly
    browned.
    Makes approximately 5 dozen.
