Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
Preparation

Use young tender beets.
Wash, leave 2 end of stem and boil 15 minutes in water to cover.
Dip in cold water; rub off skins.
