No-Meat Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    3 tsp. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    2 1/2 c. cooked rice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash peppers.
    Cut slice from stem end and remove seeds.
    Cover with boiling salted water.
    Boil, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes; drain. Halve lengthwise.
    Brown onion in butter; add poultry seasoning, rice, salt and pepper.
    Fill peppers with rice mixture.
    Place in baking dish with a small amount of water.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
