Kookie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
    1 c. pecan pieces
    1 jar caramel ice cream topping
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can prepared chocolate frosting
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Press cookie dough into ungreased 9 x 13 pan.
    Press 1/2 cup of pecans into dough.
    Pour caramel topping over crust.
    In medium bowl, combine flour, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla; stir with fork until well blended and coarsely crumbled.
    Sprinkle over caramel topping and press down.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Remove pan from oven and cool 5 minutes. Spread with frosting; sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecans.
    Freeze for 30 minutes; cut into bars.
