Black Iron Kettle Old-Fashion Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    oil
    1 or 1/2 lb. stew beef
    2 onions, cut up
    2 or 3 potatoes, cubed
    few carrots
    peas
    1 stalk celery
    water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of asparagus or cream of celery soup
Preparation
    Put oil in bottom of kettle, enough so the beef cubes, onions and potatoes won't burn.
    Brown beef, onions and potatoes.
    Add carrots, peas, celery and a little water and cook slowly for 1 hour or until done.
    Season with blend of herbs.
    Then add soups.
