Thyme Carrot Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chicken stock
    1 1/2 c. carrots, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 onion, diced
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh thyme or 1 1/2 tsp. dry nutmeg
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine chicken stock, carrots and onions.
    Bring to a boil. Simmer 20 minutes.
    Puree along with 1/2 cup heavy cream.
    Add thyme, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Garnish with fresh thyme.
    Serves six.
