Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 to 2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. hot water
1 c. nut meats
1 pkg. chocolate chips
2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and drop on greased sheet.
Flatten with fork and bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
