Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. mashed bananas
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. Crisco (solid)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift together all dry ingredients, except sugar.
    Stir juice into bananas.
    Cream together the sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs to sugar until light and fluffy.
    Alternately add dry ingredients and milk.
    Beat after each addition.
    Fold in bananas.
    Pour into 2 greased 5 x 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then put on racks to cool completely.
