Miss Iris Mae'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. margarine
    6 eggs
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    3 c. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Have margarine at room temperature and put in
    a mixing bowl. Add sugar and eggs (slightly beaten); add milk and 1 tablespoon shortening.
    Beat until well blended.
    Add flour, baking powder and flavoring.
    Blend well.
    Bake in oven at 335\u00b0 for 1 hour.
