German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    1 large onion
    5 slices bacon
    salt and pepper
    sugar to taste
    1/2 c. vinegar, mixed with 1/2 c. water
    flour
Preparation
    Cook potatoes; set aside to cool.
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
    Save stock.
    Slice potatoes into mixing bowl; sprinkle with salt, pepper, sugar and parsley flakes.
    Add bacon bits.
    Mix vinegar, water and bacon stock in frypan.
    Add flour; stirring constantly, bring to boiling point.
    Remove from heat and pour over salad ingredients.
    Serve immediately.
