After Work Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 oz. Polish sausage links, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 (14.5 to 16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 c. water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut okra
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 c. hot cooked rice
crushed red pepper (not ground pepper)
vinegar (smallest size bottle)
salt
Sauer's or Lawry's seasoned salt
water
Preparation

In a glass bowl or glass saucepan:
Use 1/2 of the bottle of vinegar (approximately 1 cup).
Double this amount in water (for example:
1 cup of vinegar equals 2 cups of water).
Add 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper (later can add more to season to taste).
Add 3 tablespoons seasoned salt (later can add more to season to taste).
Add 1 tablespoon salt.
Stir well until ingredients dissolve.
Red pepper will not.
You will add more salt, seasoned salt and crushed red pepper until you get the taste you desire.
