Ingredients

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
3 oz. cream cheese
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. margarine
1 egg (large)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in a bowl. Cut the margarine and
cream cheese into the dry ingredients until the mixture is full of fine lumps, resembling pie crust.
Add egg and
vanilla.
Mix
well.
Put
through cookie press or roll out and
use cookie cutters.
Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake.
Remove cookies at once onto rack.
