Ginger Creams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/3 c. molasses
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Cream together margarine and sugar.
    Add egg, beating well. Stir in molasses.
    Sift together the dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with water.
    Drop from teaspoon 2-inches apart.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 8 minutes.
    Remove to rack.
    Frost while still warm.
