Rice Chile Verde - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sour cream
    1 can (4 oz.) peeled green chiles, seeded and chopped
    4 1/2 c. cooked rice
    1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, cut into thin slices
    3/4 c. (3 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Mix sour cream and chopped chiles.
    Layer 1 1/2 cups rice, 1 1/2 cups sour cream mixture and half of cheese slices in buttered 3-quart casserole.
    Repeat layers with remaining rice, sour cream and cheese slices.
    Bake uncovered 45 minutes or until hot.
    Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
    Return to oven 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
