Chocolate Floats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot water
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Place hot water, sugar and salt in a saucepan and cook 8 minutes.
    Pour into 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
    Make a batter of sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, milk, nuts, vanilla and butter.
    Drop by large tablespoons into hot water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
