Soft Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. sour milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
flour

Preparation

Mix sugar, butter and eggs.
Add milk with the soda and baking powder (dissolved).
Mix in flour to soft dough.
On center of each cookie use a little sugar, a raisin or a red hot.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
