Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour, unsifted
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. vegetable oil
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/3 c. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    5 to 6 c. thinly sliced apples
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    5 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Place flour, 2 1/4 cups sugar, salt and baking soda in a large bowl.
    In another bowl, cream liquid ingredients.
    Add flour to mixture; beat until smooth.
    Mix apples, cinnamon and 5 tablespoons sugar.
    Pour a layer of batter into a greased Bundt cake pan.
    Cover with a layer of apples, another layer of batter and a final layer of apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours.
    Crust will be chewy.
