Cheesy Pigs In Blankets - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 pkg. pie crust mix or 1 pkg. prepared pie crust
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
cocktail frankfurters

Preparation

Prepare pie crust mix according to package directions, adding 1/2 cup cheese with water.
Roll out on a lightly floured board to 1/8-inch thickness (with prepared pie crust, sprinkle cheese over crust and roll in).
Cut into narrow strips about 4 inches long. Roll frankfurter in strips, diagonally, forming \"barber pole stripes\".
Place on aluminum foil.
Wrap well and freeze overnight.
Before serving, bake on a cookie sheet at 450\u00b0 for 16 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
