Mincemeat Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 lb. beef or venison
1 lb. suet
4 lb. apples, chopped
1 lb. 8 oz. brown sugar
2 lb. 8 oz. raisins (seedless)
2 lb. 8 oz. currants
8 oz. (1 c.) brandy
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) allspice
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) cloves
Preparation
-
Boil meat and run through a grinder with suet.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Add meat stocks if more moisture is needed.
