Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe

1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 pkg. caramels
Preparation

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk in double boiler. Mix cake mix with butter and the rest of the evaporated milk. Spread half of dough into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
After the 10 minutes, put chocolate chips over baked dough and follow with caramel mixture.
Next, spread the rest of dough on top and bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350\u00b0. Refrigerate for 1 hour and cut into bars.
