Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 stick oleo, melted
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 can fruit cocktail, undrained
Preparation
    Mix above well and add 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
    Pour into greased pan, 11 x 2 x 9-inch.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped nuts mixed with 1/2 cup brown sugar on top of batter.
    Bake for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
