Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 c. brown sugar, packed
    3/4 c. shortening (butter)
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    2 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. molasses (I use 1/2 c. Brer Rabbit green label)
Preparation
    Mix
    flour,
    brown
    sugar
    and\tshortening into crumbs; save 1
    cup
    for
    top.
    Put soda in boiling water and mix all together. Grease
    and
    flour
    9 x 13-inch pan.
    Put batter in and
    top with 1 cup crumbs you save from first 3 ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
