Fried Fish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
pinch of cayenne pepper
4 to 6 fresh fish (1/2 lb. each), dressed
1/2 c. shortening or oil
1 lemon
Preparation

Combine cornmeal,
salt,
pepper
and cayenne pepper in small mixing bowl.
Spread
onto\ta
sheet
of
aluminum foil. Dredge fish in cornmeal mix.
Heat shortening in large frypan. Fry fish until golden
brown
and
flaky, about 4 minutes each side. Remove from pan; drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with lemon wedge or juice.
Makes 4 servings.
