Perogi Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 lasagna noodles
    6 medium potatoes
    2 c. American or sharp cheese
    1/4 lb. butter or as much as you like
    1 large onion
Preparation
    Cook and mash potatoes.
    Add cheese and mix until melted. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions and cool. Melt butter and slice onion.
    On bottom of a 9 x 13-inch cake pan, pour some butter and cover with some onion.
    Place 3 lasagna noodles on top of onion mixture.
    Spread half of potato mixture on lasagna noodles.
    Continue with 3 more noodles, the rest of the potatoes and the last 3 noodles.
    Top with butter and onion.
    Bake until heated well in a 350\u00b0 oven about 35 to 45 minutes.
