Red Hot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
    2/3 c. red hots
    1 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. applesauce or crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    6 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Dissolve red hots in hot water and combine with Jell-O and applesauce.
    Set aside half of mixture.
    Chill remaining half until set.
    Combine mayonnaise, cream cheese, celery and walnuts. Spread on chilled Jell-O and top with remaining mixture.
