Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. light brown sugar (packed)
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. (6 oz.) milk chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat together sugars and butter until light and fluffy.
Blend eggs and vanilla.
Add combined flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 6 dozen, 2 1/2-inch cookies.
