Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. white Karo syrup or pancake syrup
    2 eggs
    1 c. pecan meats, chopped
    1/2 c. whole pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 raw pie crust
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and salt.
    Add well-beaten eggs, syrup, nuts and vanilla.
    Mix well and put in raw pie shell.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour (approximately); do not overbake.
