Spiced Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) large can pineapple chunks (in own juice)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 tsp. whole allspice
    2-inch stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain and reserve pineapple.
    Measure 1 cup syrup into large saucepan.
    Add sugar, vinegar, cloves, allspice and cinnamon. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add pineapple and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until fruit is heated thoroughly.
    Remove from heat.
    Serve hot.
