Doesn'T Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    egg whites
    sugar
    vanilla
Preparation
    Cook cornstarch, 2 tablespoons sugar and water until thick. Set aside to cool.
    Beat 3 egg whites and 2 tablespoons sugar for each egg white.
    Add vanilla to taste.
    Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff, then add to cooked mixture.
    Spread on pies and brown.
