Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 medium potatoes
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    2 pkg. brats
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until tender.
    Cool and slice.
    In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove and drain.
    Cook onion in drippings until golden.
    Blend in flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is bubbly.
    Remove from heat. Stir in water and vinegar.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir bacon and potatoes into mixture and heat through; coat potato slices.
    Serve with brats.
    Makes 5 to 6 servings.
