Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 carrots, peeled and cut up
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 or 3 chopped celery stalks
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    freshly ground pepper to taste
    1/4 c. flour
    1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
    2 1/2 c. cooked chicken or turkey, cut up
    handful of chopped parsley
    uncooked single pie crust
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Cook carrots for 10 minutes in water, drain and set aside.
    Melt butter in large, deep frying pan.
    Add onion, celery and basil.
    Saute for 5 minutes.
    Stir in salt, pepper and flour.
    Continue to saute for a few minutes.
    Blend in chicken broth.
    Turn up heat and cook until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat.
    Add chicken, carrots and parsley.
    Pour into 3-quart casserole.
    Top with parsley.
    Bake 25 minutes.
